Previously, when taking the exam, I used to change my macOS power settings to prevent sleep.
Recently, alternative methods have been found to manage sleep settings… Temporary:
caffeinate -i -d
-i
: prevent system sleep-d
: prevent display sleep
Permanent:
pmset -c sleep 0
pmset -c disablesleep 1
pmset -c displaysleep 0
To check the current settings:
pmset -g custom
